Bioware to host summit with The Old Republic guild leaders

Bioware, creators of, among other things, the hit MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic, plans to host a summit to discuss "the state of the game" with the players. Specifically, guild leaders.

The summit, set to take place March 4th-6th in Austin, will open a dialogue between players and the design team that is a rare thing these days. It's no secret that some players are not happy with the way things are going with the game, and this is an opportunity to voice concerns to someone in a position to change things. On top of that, Bioware plans to let the attendees preview some upcoming game features, and presumably get their feedback on it.

Since this is such an uncommon situation, it's understandable that everybody and their momma would want to attend. Unfortunately, the Double Tree Hotel can only hold so many attendees, so the summit is "invitation only." Bioware has already invited leaders of various guilds, but there are reportedly some spots still available.

To see the official post, and how to submit for an invitation, see the post on SWTOR's official site here.
